How to experience the Abundant Life each day

PRINCIPLES THAT GOVERN THE ABUNDANT LIFE.
(A More Excellent Way)
A life of abundance in all things –material, physical, in health, peace, joy, etc- is real and available in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 1:3 KJV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
John 10:10b KJV
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.:
It’s available, but why is it not attainable for everyone? It’s because there are  principles to its unfolding or manifestation in their lives. There are conditions to be met to live life to the fullest (not just merely existing but enjoying every bit of it).
The kingdom of God operates on principles or guidelines which are no respecter of person, and which will deliver to anyone, anywhere, without regard to race, color, gender, or language
In John 8:32 KJV,it says:
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. -shall know, understand the principles.
Let’s look at the most important of these principles or truths (code of conduct, fundamental law):
1 Corinthians 12:31b KJV
... and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.
1 Corinthians 13:13 KJV
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
The Scripture calls it the more excellent way. It’s one thing for an item to be excellent, but to describe it as more excellent means it surpasses others. More excellent means it delivers  the most dividend, pays the most.
  1. The Principle of Love
Deuteronomy 6:5 KJV
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
Matthew 22:37-38 KJV
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
This is the first and great commandment.
Love for God:
What is love for God ? What does it mean to love God?
In Matthew 22:37-Love in Greek translates as “beloved” so that scripture is saying “thou shall make Him your beloved”
Deuteronomy 6:5-Defines Love –in Hebrew- as; befriend, lovers, affectionately disposed (additions mine).
I checked out the Merriam-Webster dictionary, and it defines Beloved, as Dear to the Heart , Cherished, Favourite, Special. So loving God with the whole of our hearts will mean cherishing, favoring  Him above anyone, anything and making Him the most special of all in our lives. Why would The Lord Jesus declare it as the greatest principle?
When you are in love with God, it delivers to you, without stress, a life of abundance in all things-
Song of Solomon 5:1 KJV
I am come into my garden, my sister, my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.
Let's look at some of the goodies that accrue to those who love God.
  • Your life runs on superb auto-pilot, driven by your lover.
  • Your lover foots all your bills (SOS 2:16), and this lover (God) owns everything and everyone-Job 41:11 .
  • Your lover makes everything to work out for your good-Romans 8:28
  • God will be in love with you –Proverbs 8:17, SOS 6:3
  • He will keep His covenant and mercy with you-Deuteronomy 7:9
  • You will be swimming in revelation- 1Corinthians2:9
  • You will ride on the high places of life because you will always have access to fresh, uncommon ideas and inspiration- 1Corinthians. 2:9-10
  • Your lover becomes an adversary (an enemy) to your adversary and breaks them to pieces- Psalm 89:20-23
  • Nothing good is withheld from you, because loving Him is pleasing Him, and that makes you upright.-Psalm 84:11
  • It enables you to easily please God; you’re putting His kingdom first, and that automatically makes all things (things people struggle to get- wealth, fame, titles, success, etc. ) added to you cheaply- Matthew 6:33
  • It makes it easy for you to fulfill the commands of God. Because when you are in love, you want to do what your lover demands-John 14:15
  • He gives you sleep- you won’t need to worry about safety while you sleep or insomnia, etc ; Psalm 19:15
  • He will promote, elevate, exalt and set you on high-Psalm 91:14
  • You will live a long, healthy life- Psalm 91:16
Amazing! Above all, your lover whom you love goes to prepare a place for you to live with Him for ever. - John 14:2-3.
That God loves you is certain,he loved us so much He gave His son (John 3:16) but do you love Him?
In part 2,we look at the acid-test that shows if the love of God is in us or we are following him only for what to get.

WHO TORE THE VEIL?

WHO TORE THE VEIL? Matthew 27:50-51 KJV Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; Jesus  being crucified was on the cross, the scriptures recorded that as He cried with a loud voice and gave up the ghost that the veil that separated the Holies where the priests performed sacrifices daily from the Holiest of All where the High Priest had access only once a year (Hebrews.9:7) to atone for his sins and for the sins of the people was torn in two from top to bottom. Now, let's look at this veil  - well,  it's not the kind of veil that brides wear on their wedding day or some kind of face covering mostly worn by women. This Veil translated as screen in Greek is a curtain - 4 inches thick,60ft high, about 30 -40ft wide. One piece of linen cloth woven with Blue, Purple and Scarlet,it is said that it would take at least 30...

TETELESTIA. - PAID IN FULL!

TETELESTIA. - PAID IN FULL! John 19:28,30 KJV After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. [30] When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. The Word, "Finished"(Tetelestai )comes from - teleo, which means “to bring to an end, to complete, to accomplish.” It’s a crucial word because it signifies the successful end to a particular course of action. It’s the word you would use when you make the final payment on a new acquisition. It means “I did exactly what I set out to do.” but in Jesus' case ,it meant " I have done exactly what the Father wants done". But there is more to the meaning of tetelestai. It means all of the above, but it especially applies to the price paid for the sins of the world. Goods only become completely ours when payment has been fully made. The phrase "it is finished" is loaded, a...

How to experience favour everywhere II

If you've read part 1 of this series, you probably thought - wow! Who wouldn't like this?. God's favour brings a refreshing Proverbs 16:15 KJV In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain. Picture this scene. It's a really hot day during the dry season and it hasn't rained in about two weeks. You're standing out in the open, feeling like a human egg on a frying pan, then suddenly, right above you, the sky darkens, the cloud split open, and rain begins to pour right on you. if you can't imagine it, look at this;  Refreshing isn't it?. It was God's favour and wisdom upon Joseph that made Pharaoh install him as governor; Acts 7:10 KJV And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaouh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. It's possible to be ill-favoured but that's not God's plan for His worshipper...
