WHO TORE THE VEIL?

WHO TORE THE VEIL?
Matthew 27:50-51 KJV
Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Jesus  being crucified was on the cross, the scriptures recorded that as He cried with a loud voice and gave up the ghost that the veil that separated the Holies where the priests performed sacrifices daily from the Holiest of All where the High Priest had access only once a year (Hebrews.9:7) to atone for his sins and for the sins of the people was torn in two from top to bottom.
Now, let's look at this veil  - well,  it's not the kind of veil that brides wear on their wedding day or some kind of face covering mostly worn by women. This Veil translated as screen in Greek is a curtain - 4 inches thick,60ft high, about 30 -40ft wide. One piece of linen cloth woven with Blue, Purple and Scarlet,it is said that it would take at least 300 men to lift it up .Even Strong Horses tied together  cannot tear it apart; yet it was torn into two when Jesus  gave up the ghost.
So,who tore the Veil?
Exodus 26:33-34 KJV -And thou shalt hang up the vail under the taches, that thou mayest bring in thither within the vail the ark of the testimony: and the vail shall divide unto you between the holy place and the most holy. And thou shalt put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.
The Veil acts as a divide ( a separatation) between The Holies and The Most Holy where the Mercy Seat, God's Shekinah Glory  and Presence oozes out. If it was torn from bottom- to- top ,we could have said  a man did that - but which man? Remember that only  the Jews had access to the tabernacle  and particularly with the priest to offer their sacrifices  and find their way out. They knew the rules -none  who is  not the High Priest  who comes near the Holiest  and looks in ever lived. Even the High Priest approachesd the Most Holy Place not carelessly  but with fear and trepidation that once a year ,he prepared with utmost care and reverence and if he  is found unfit, He will die there (Exodus 28:35) and we have learnt from Bible history that a chain which has been attached to his body is used to retrieve his body.So it was not the Gentiles, neither the Jews ,Nor their Priest. - It was even too high and too thick to be torn from Top-to-bottom without creating a big Scene. - A Highly Divine Hand must have done this. God himself tore the veil !
What did the Veil Represent?
Division between  man and God - Sin, No wonder  Isaiah 59:2 says it's our  iniquities that has separated us and  our God. The Veil speaks  Enmity - A Holy  God  not able to behold  sinful people as the Scriptures  says in Habbakuk  1:13. If God tore the  veil, why did He?  God was saying the Era of Enmity  is over, Sin was the question  and Jesus paid the price for our sin - Sinless, Blameless Innocent  Blood ! (2 Corinthians  5:21)- Jesus became sin for us.
1 Peter 2:24 KJV - Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
The Debt -Bill of Sin -  Paid in full and torn, no more payments  (John 19:30).Barrier between  the Holy God and Sinful man removed. ( Ephesians 2:14) We can now access God. And everyone can! It's no more limited to the Priest but to the Laity also,  Not only the Pulpit but the Pew also. The Wall of enmity is destroyed, instead an Invitation to friendship between God and man. Man now has unlimited  and Unrestricted access to God (Romans  5:10)
This is access to the very presence  of God, to the Eden before the fall, where the Shekinah Glory radiates-no other light. And if the Glory is now accessible, every shame and reproach upon the Church  and everyone of us in Christ is forever  terminated. Before Jesus' death, the Veil represented "stay away" but now God opens the way to the Holiest by the tearing of the veil to say    " Come Close", Come Back Home"
The Veil separated mankind from the Mercy Seat and what did that bring?  Wrath of God,  Curse, Doom, Perdition  but when the Veil tore, God was saying - Come obtain Mercy, Pardon, Grace, Love -
Hebrews 4:16 KJV - Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
What Adam and Eve lost in the garden of Eden, God made freely available because of Jesus- All of The Mercy Seat !  - Pardon for the Disobedience  of The Tables of the Commandment( in the Ark of Testimony), Access to Abundant and Eternal Life represented by Aaron's rod  that budded, flowered and even produced almonds. What about unending Supernatural Provision ? -  ( Hebrews 9:4) - That's the Golden Pot with Manna signifying that whatever you need is forever available  - Food, Shelter, Babies, Health, Finance,Success,Name it!  It's Available  - So God was saying when the  Veil was torn " Come on in and take all you need, it all belongs to you "
Torn Veil?  - No more Sacrifice - (Hebrews 9:26, 10:12 ) For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified ( Hebrews 10:14) - once and forever paid by our Great HighPriest, Glory!. Even demons have no legal  right to harass any child of God. Every  affliction and harassment  is illegal  ( Colossians 2:14-15) - it's an open - secret, you and I are now un -harrassable.
Veil torn in Two- Representing both Jews and Gentiles ( Ephesians 2: 15-16), the Jews were near to the Holies and we that were far in the Courts of the Gentiles, now have peace and access to God. - No Jews, No Gentile, No male nor Female but all now one in Christ Jesus.
When that veil tore, we see also that God no longer dwells in tabernacle made with hands but has moved His dwelling  inside us.
Hebrews 8:10 KJV - For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: We have become  the Ark of God's dwelling. We that did not have mercy but wrath (1Peter 2:10) now have undenied access to God's Mercy through, Jesus - His death and His Shed Blood.
God tore the Veil  because  the Price was completely  paid!
Are you back home?  Are you enjoying  the benefits of the Torn-Veil?.
Jesus did it for you  and I
Thank you Jesus!

The Holy Spirit our guide

2. The Holy Spirit- Our Guide     You and i take tens and sometimes hundreds of decisions in a day,e.g Should i take a left or a right? Should i drive or take a bus? Should i speak or keep quiet? Should i take this route A or route B ?  Basically, these may not be spelt out in the Bible, yet we need to take decisions each day,and we all desire them to be right. Jesus knew this,an He said-- And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (KJV)-John 14:16 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:and he will shew you things to come. (KJV)--John 16:13 " Forever" He will be with us,all the time to lead us and guide us to take the right decisio .We need the Holy Spirit, we cannot go through Life trouble-free without Him.He knows the way,He is the true guide. THE POWER OF GOD'S MERCY SEAT

Have ever had to face the punishment for a disobedient act as a child?  When you knew that you really were in trouble with your parents or as we say in my place ( you have entered okro soup) you knew you were about  to face the repercussion of  your ill-behavior, it seems.. Inevitable!  Ever been there? The rod of correction was about to be administered, you were saying  your last prayers before the Big Bang!  And all of a sudden..  Mumy becomes silent, then takes a deep breath and says " get out of my sight,  you naughty...." without applying the judgement. Ever been  there? As a child,  I was there several times. Ah! What happened?  Mercy! Exodus 34:6 KJV And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord , The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, What is Mercy? Mercy is forgiveness, passion- it is, not giving us the punishment we deserve. Mercy is compassion shown to someone whom it is in ones power to harm or puni
