WHO TORE THE VEIL? Matthew 27:50-51 KJV Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; Jesus  being crucified was on the cross, the scriptures recorded that as He cried with a loud voice and gave up the ghost that the veil that separated the Holies where the priests performed sacrifices daily from the Holiest of All where the High Priest had access only once a year (Hebrews.9:7) to atone for his sins and for the sins of the people was torn in two from top to bottom. Now, let's look at this veil  - well,  it's not the kind of veil that brides wear on their wedding day or some kind of face covering mostly worn by women. God's favour brings a refreshing Proverbs 16:15 KJV In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain. Picture this scene. It's a really hot day during the dry season and it hasn't rained in about two weeks. You're standing out in the open, feeling like a human egg on a frying pan, then suddenly, right above you, the sky darkens, the cloud split open, and rain begins to pour right on you. if you can't imagine it, look at this;  Refreshing isn't it?. It was God's favour and wisdom upon Joseph that made Pharaoh install him as governor; Acts 7:10 KJV And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favour and wisdom in the sight of Pharaouh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. It's possible to be ill-favoured but that's not God's plan for His worshipper

Favour everywhere, everyday, with everyone! What  exactly is Favour ? - Favour is being accepted or preferred, to receive approval, support or better treatment. Everyone likes to be favoured or as it were, given preferential treatment ,  a positive advantage, a position above others. In the country of my birth, it is believed that to be disfavoured is a curse. Favour makes things work faster for you, it brings grace, mercy, help, gifts to be deposited to an individual  or group. It's an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual to ease, save or spare. Somewhat of what you would humanly call partiality, but let's look at it from God's perspective. Is it true that some are favoured while some others are not? I discovered from the Bible (The Word of Truth), that anyone and everyone who desires to be favoured can actually be favoured- God is not a respecter  of persons; Acts 10:33-34 KJV Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. OW TO KNOW AND DO THE WILL OF GOD As we come into a new year, maybe like me you want to do the will of God ,you want a better walk with God Which has been the root of the success of great men in the scriptures and even in contemporary times. What is the will of God? The will of God (r atson - in Hebrew) is the desire,delight and what is acceptable to God and (thelma-in greek) is the purpose, determination, His choice(decree),His inclination (pleasure, desire). The will of God is expressly spelt outside in the scripture, His word to us is His will- that is what He desires( and He is determined to do). Each time you see" I will" from the mouth of God its what He is determined to do, it is also a certain promise. Can God's will change ? When God's promise or intention becomes conditional, that is,in response to the action of another, then God's will becomes subject to the response of the other part involved.His will does not change ;but it's made to bear

ON OUR WAY TO OUR PROMISE LAND,CHALLENGES,ROADBLOCKS,HINDRANCES,ALL MANNER OF ISSUES MANY DEMANDING IMMEDIATE SOLUTION ,SOME THREATING OUR JOY& PEACE COME OUR WAY.THEIR PURPOSE IS TO DISTRACT US AND MAKE US LOSE FOCUS. THESE ISSUES SAY 'HEY,LOOK AT ME' 'SETTLE ME', 'FOCUS ON ME' , 'MAKE ME YOUR PRIORITY'.MORE OFTEN THAN NOT,WE PAUSE IN OUR JOURNEY TO THE TOP AND SOMETIMES EVEN STOP TO ATTEND TO THESE ROADBLOCKS.THEY COME THE WAY OF EVERYONE WHO IS GOING SOMEWHERE IN LIFE,(INFACT THE MORE GLORIOUS YOUR DESTINATION,THE MORE ROADBLOCKS TO EXPECT,SO CHEER UP)AND THEY TEMPORARILY STALL OUR STRIDE,OUR FOCUS IS TURNED OFTEN AND OFTEN TO THESE CHALLENGES AND GOD HELP YOU IF THEY COME QUICKLY ONE AFTER THE OTHER. EACH TIME WE FOCUS ON OR TAKE TIME TO MOURN OR PAMPER THESE OBSTACLES,WE ARE IMPEDED OR DELAYED FROM REACHING THE GOAL SET BEFORE US. SINCERELY THESE CHALLENGES NEED ATTENTION,THEY COME IN THE WAY OF NEEDS,LIFE ISSUES,LOSSES AND IN DIFFERENT PAC

Have ever had to face the punishment for a disobedient act as a child?  When you knew that you really were in trouble with your parents or as we say in my place ( you have entered okro soup) you knew you were about  to face the repercussion of  your ill-behavior, it seems.. Inevitable!  Ever been there? The rod of correction was about to be administered, you were saying  your last prayers before the Big Bang!  And all of a sudden..  Mumy becomes silent,then takes a deep breath and says " get out of my sight,  you naughty...." without applying the judgement.
