Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day !
...AND HIS MOTHER'S NAME WAS...
2 Kings 21:1-2 KJV
Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hephzi-bah. [2] And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord , after the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.
2 Chronicles 26:3-4 KJV
Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem. [4] And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord , according to all that his father Amaziah did.
All through the records and chronicles of the kings that ruled over Israel and Judah in the Old Testament, the Holy Spirit opens our eyes to see that it was noted "...and his mother's name was... " -1 Kings 14:21,14:31,15:2,15:10,22:42, 2 Kings 8 :26,12:1,14:2,15:2,15:33,.. 21:19...till 2 Chr. 29:1 (in some cases were the father's name mentioned).
Why not the Father's name? Why the Mother's? This sent shivers down my spine, so heaven has a record of every mother? either these kings did good or evil in the sight of the Lord, their mother's were also carefully scrutinized.
Could we say heaven held their mothers responsible for the outcome of these kings? Did their roles in the lives of their children who turned kings make or mar their performance?
Does that mean that heaven sees mothers as a great influence or moulder of the Principal Officer, who will in turn some day mould the dynasty (that everything rises and falls on leadership?)
So who is a MOTHER? Why is she so important in the scheme of events? Does the next generation depend on her? Why Was The Bible particular about who She is? her name? her background? her lineage?.
Who is a mother? (If well played out) - A mother is the child's first teacher, caregiver, coach, trainer, driller, moral-instructor, co-ordinator, director, captain, nurse, cook, tailor, driver, cheerleader, ardent-supporter, friend, counselor, confidante etc.
We can go on and on... ( She wears many caps ), but these roles can also be played out in selfish love or in the flesh ( if she doesn't allow the leading of the Spirit of God) for the so- called -good of her beloved child, thereby leading the child into error.
We mothers are leaders, role models, and to a large extent, our children are our proteges-they believe in us. (well, until they discover that some wrongs have been mixed with the right beliefs, Like girls would believe then, from what their mothers said " that they'll get pregnant if boys touched them",it worked well for some.. preserving them, but for some.. they dared it, found it to be false (or would you say half -truth) and went all- the -way to their own detriment.
If you are a Mother or a Would-be, you should ask yourself as I have asked myself, "if the chronicles of my children were to be written in our 21st Century, what would heaven write?
"And He/She did ( good, bad) in the sight of the Lord and His/Her Mother's name was................." Wake up! We've got work to do ( God please help us!).
This is applicable not just to our biological children but to all the young ones that come our way - in our home, neighborhood, workplace, church... They are all around us. I am a testimony of such wonderful mothers that God brought my way. Orphaned at 14+ ,Umh, i had my share of them,! both physically & spiritually ( My sisters-Sister Detoun & Sis Deola& many others.
Let's help someone write a good future.

The Holy Spirit our guide

2. The Holy Spirit- Our Guide     You and i take tens and sometimes hundreds of decisions in a day,e.g Should i take a left or a right? Should i drive or take a bus? Should i speak or keep quiet? Should i take this route A or route B ?  Basically, these may not be spelt out in the Bible, yet we need to take decisions each day,and we all desire them to be right. Jesus knew this,an He said-- And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; (KJV)-John 14:16 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:and he will shew you things to come. (KJV)--John 16:13 " Forever" He will be with us,all the time to lead us and guide us to take the right decisio .We need the Holy Spirit, we cannot go through Life trouble-free without Him.He knows the way,He is the true guide. As they ministered to the Lord, ...

HOW TO REMAIN STRONG IN THE MIDST OF CHALLENGES ( BOUYANCY)

How can you remain unshakeable and immoveable in the midst of struggles, difficulties and trials? Trials are part of the journey of life. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. - John 16:33 ' Shall ', in the text, means they are bound to come, tribulation represents distressing, suffering, and trying experiences. The interesting thing is that trials work for our good, what you are going through is working for your good. Look at what the word of God says: Peter 1:6-7 KJV Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth , though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ . Romans 8:28 KJV And we know that all things work together for good to them...

TETELESTIA. - PAID IN FULL!

TETELESTIA. - PAID IN FULL! John 19:28,30 KJV After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. [30] When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost. The Word, "Finished"(Tetelestai )comes from - teleo, which means “to bring to an end, to complete, to accomplish.” It’s a crucial word because it signifies the successful end to a particular course of action. It’s the word you would use when you make the final payment on a new acquisition. It means “I did exactly what I set out to do.” but in Jesus' case ,it meant " I have done exactly what the Father wants done". But there is more to the meaning of tetelestai. It means all of the above, but it especially applies to the price paid for the sins of the world. Goods only become completely ours when payment has been fully made. The phrase "it is finished" is loaded, a...
