Delayed Answers to Prayers

Delayed Answers to Prayers
Its working for your Good

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 ASV
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort them that are in any affliction, through the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Do you Sometimes  wonder why its taking so long for your request to be granted or why your prayers are not getting answered?has God forgotten to be gracious?
You've checked and you are in right standing with God,so its not sin.is God afflicting me? No,God is a good God but He allows it for our good( all things work together for our good,we  that love God)
So why the delay?
Let's take a look at these 3 reasons amongst others.
1. 2 Corinthians 4:17
For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;
Its working for our good,to toughen& strengthen our faith muscles.

2. So that God can comfort us. Instead of getting angry with God.say "Lord,I receive your comfort, comfort me Spirit of God,and show me the way out of this affliction".You'll soon discover His love, embrace& direction right by you.

3. So that you can comfort others ( the word comfort means to lessen the pain or grief of another, giving hope& assurance of a better tomorrow). Now tell me,how can u comfort another if you have not pulled-through or you are pulling -through a similar situation?
Cheer- up! You are a role model!
Someone is going to pull- through a challenge,an oppression, maybe even an addiction just based on your testimony!
Instead of moping around,go look for someone to encourage, someone to tell "hey I'm going through same.you are not alone"

Remember.its working for us a more more eternal weight of glory!& guess what?
"And it (the affliction)shall come.... To ...pass. - Ibukun Williams

HOW TO PRAY AND GET ANSWERS!

How to Pray and get answers-Fruitful Prayers 1 Corinthians 10:11 KJV Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. Gleaning from those gone ahead, we can learn from Jacob’s encounter  before his meeting with Esau on his return from Laban and as our Lord Jesus said; " And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch", what God did with Jacob , He can do with you and I. And here are some secrets to answered prayers which I have also experienced in my life: In Genesis 32, we see Jacob who had cheated Esau his brother of his birth right and eloped returning back to his homeland as God has instructed him and now was close to being.confronted with him greatest fear - Esau. We love the testimony that came forth from Jacob's wrestling encounter  that produced the name -ISRAEL which still remains till today,  Umh!  Thats what you call a real real breakthrough, Open doors fo...

Inner Peace

Inner Peace-Ps 23:2,Luke 1:79b 'He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:he leadeth me besides the still waters'-Psalm 23:2(KJV) '.....To guide our feet into the way of peace' -Luke 1:79B Another way God leads us is by peace on our inside. Still waters represent calmness and peace. God will not lead you into trouble, His leading moves us up.   The Fruit of the Spirit as recorded in Galatians. 5:22-23 '...But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,Faith, meekness, Temperance:against such there is no law'-Galatians 5:22-23(KJV)   Is the manifestation of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and one of this fruit is peace. When you need to take a decision check on your inside. "Do I have peace about this decision". If you feel confused, anxious, worried or uncomfortable. I advice you wait, go back to God in prayers, talk to the Holy Spirit. Never take any major decision in a rush!Request for time.- even 5 minutes!B...

HOW TO REMAIN STRONG IN THE MIDST OF CHALLENGES ( BOUYANCY)

How can you remain unshakeable and immoveable in the midst of struggles, difficulties and trials? Trials are part of the journey of life. These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. - John 16:33 ' Shall ', in the text, means they are bound to come, tribulation represents distressing, suffering, and trying experiences. The interesting thing is that trials work for our good, what you are going through is working for your good. Look at what the word of God says: Peter 1:6-7 KJV Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth , though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ . Romans 8:28 KJV And we know that all things work together for good to them...
